-practice verified signal coverage before and after the failure of the satellite during the summer of last year 2010 -
Except for one transponder ( packet SUN Network at f = 3885 H - curent quality > MER=16-19 dB ! ) technical anomaly
affecting all other transponders broadcaster Doordarshan, and till now that problem was not corrected as I will describe the
specific example.
Asia , Middle East , East & Central & parts of Southern Europe : before D=140-240+ cm and now D=180-300+ cm
Central Africa : stable reception for the two Doordarshan packets at f=3 725 + 3 925 H is not possible with a diameter
antennas from 800 to 1000 cm .

- during the six hour interval measurements I identified the three qualitative phase, associated with the persistent
failure of the satellite.Average level of quality within the timeframe from 7 to 9 am >MER=10-12 dB_from 10 to 11 am
>MER=8-10 dB_ from 12 to 13 pm >MER=11-13 dB .

3 725 H : Cyclically changing amplitude of quality ranging from 10.5 to 12.5 dB with a three-hour peak in quality to
the level of MER=14 dB,with full detection stability.Twenty-minute time frame defined cyclically recurring changes from
peak-high/MER=12.5 dB to peak-low/MER=10.5 dB.After the inclusion of HD transmission of the packet I have not
identified even once the ideal status of quality at bBER<10-6 and level of quality measurements in place fell on average
by 2 dB.In the last analysis that I have performed on 24.7.2010,the time frame of twenty minutes, often occurring
situation that lasted several minutes during which the error rate bBER did not fall below the bBER = <10-6.
In contrast with the second packet from the network DD Doordarshan at f=3 925 H I also currently identified
several ideal status of quality in bBER = <10-6 _ MERp=16.5 dB .

3 725 H : constantly alternating gain margin in a wide range of amplitudes from 5 dB_MER=10 dB
to 13 dB_MER=18+ dB.In the field of measurement and analysis of the quality is regularly repeated qualitative state
of absolute zero error rate BER before Viterbi decoder >>> MER=15 + dB direct link to bBER=0 .

every day, within a time span of 10:00 to 12:00 am, I identified in the spectrum from 3 763 to 3842 MHz local transmission
of many different Indian regions with highly variable quality of reception in the range from MER=8 to MER=14 dB .

North and Central Africa : Results of measurements of my colleagues in Central Africa have confirmed
that beyond a defined territory (territory defined by yellow) signal quality decreases very quickly with distance already
tens of kilometers, which is not a common phenomenon in reception in C band.And particularly in the area of equatorial
Africa is the antenna diameter from 800 to 1000 cm practically possible only unstable reception of some Indian packets
that are transmitted through the transponder TP 2+3 with low and oscilllating gain levels.

I have identified exceptional quality condition in which the gain level slightly oscillated in the range of quality peaks
from MER = 12.5 to 14.5 dB /in time span of 20 minutes/ which is the net gain margin of almost 10 dB at almost zero Ch BER !
Compared with recent measurements that I made in July 2010, I identified an average of about MER=2 dB higher gain level
for each carrier in the range of TP 1+2+3 .

- average quality level for each carrier is non-cyclically varied in the range from 10.5 dB to 12+ dB,which belongs to
the category of quasi error-free detections with a fair gain margin from 6 to 7 dB _ bBER=<10-3 - typically from
2 to 8x10-4 /valid for the period of 20 minutes /
