1, the first time you connect the antenna, receiver started automatically check the availability of the latest software version
2, verification process and subsequent downloading software is fully automatic and can not be stopped
3, prerequisite to successful completion of downloading the latest version of software is to reach at least 5-8 minutes,
signal quality did not decrease but remained stable at a level of gain at C/f=12 683 H, which just in terms of reception
in Central Europe is not easy !!!
4, after two unsuccessful attempts, I reached a stable state carrier detection, which enabled me to complete the software
upgrade

6, FIRST Installation : underlying assumption of tuning is to achieve a minimum gain level for more than MER=8 dB for the
reference transponder to f = 12 683 H, which does not fall below this level for several minutes.So then carried to the
receiver channel search is necessary to guarantee a minimum gain margin of at 3-4 dB above the locking level (green field),
otherwise blocking receiver hardware tuning and official reception is not possible !

function expressing the signal status in Central Europe : these few features that I outlined reflect the worst quality
condition, which I identified in the time period for thirty seconds.But the vast majority of measurements, which lasted
about eight hours I have identified a significantly higher quality and excellence in the duration of the unit minutes
not seconds as defined in the function chart
curent quality status on 2011 : then the operator has made changes to transmission parameters during the last
year (FEC,SR,f), occurred in October last year to further increase the number of channels in individual packets,
which ultimately resulted in a significant decrease in quality of reception in Central Europe and the quality
condition persists to this day !
