ChinaSat 9 at 92.2°E:unusual single-polarity converter OrbSat O.SB 25 with waveguide flange C120
.
--- Orbsat O.S B25-technical data from manufacturer ---
.
Input frequency : 11.7 - 12.75 GHz
Output frequency : 950-2000 MHz
LOF frequency : 10 750 MHz
Noise Figure : 0.5 dB / f
Conversion Gain : 60 dB
.
--- small adjustment of the converter, which conducted the author ---
-unusual converter for offset types of antennas with a small diameter was initially designed to receive waves of
left-circular polarization of the satellite Chinasat 9 at 92.2°E.Author proposed a simple adjustment made
in order to install the converter for PF feedhorn with waveguide flange type C120.But all the measurements and
analysis, I performed only with the dxsatcs waveguide line of third generation .
