im trying for month to receive also Measat at 91.5° East like you.Yamal 201 at 90.0° East ist no problem for me:
Is my PF Dish with 230 cm to little - or which freq. should i try?
In my Area the Satellites are located like this:
91.5° Ost MEASAT 3 C/Ku AZ 99.80° EL 0.64°
90.0° Ost YAMAL 201 C/Ku AZ 100.91° EL 1.66°

Hello Mr. Horst,
based on your issues to inform you on the topic of reception Measat 3 satellites in the C band:
antenna with a diameter of D=230 cm you have only a theoretical possibility to identify the unstable carrier
transmission YR Asia _ f=4 117 MHz, which in the long sequence of 120 minutes achieved a quality peak
untill MER = 12 dB.with your antenna diameter is virtually impossible to stable reception for any TV broadcast
in the frequency range of satellite Measat 3 at 91.5°E ! ( This transfer was completed in autumn 2009 )

Only in the frequency range of the transponder TP 3C+TP 21C you can with a diameter of 230 cm antenna
occasionally identify intermittent feeds transmissions, which sometimes reach the exceptionally high quality
reception untill MER=10-12 dB. All other packets in the frequency range of the transponders 9C_11C_7C_5C
it is virtually impossible to permanently lock in place of measurement > Austria .

- from a theoretical point of view based on the analysis of quality I can define the following : threshold detection level with
a minimum gain margin of around 0.5 dB with a constantly oscillating amplitude of quality in a narrow range from 4.4 to 4.8 dB,
which means unstable reception limit of stability without constantly present margin.
- surely from a practical point of view at the time of measurement and aggregation of data measured in the field of thirty
minutes,I can define the following: in addition to permanent instability with pixelation short falls,I also identified the sections
lasting several minutes when the level of gain margins no longer oscillate and remained on the surface quality of MER=5 dB.
Moreover, as I defined in the spectral analysis, the quality of reception for each carrier permanently oscillates
in a wide range of amplitudes,which means that the antenna with a diameter of D=300 cm is not possible to
define a stable form of reception for any carrier from the satellite Measat 3 in the central european scale .

Analysis of changes in the peak of POW-level field measurements in sixty minutes in length confirmed the permanent

signálnej rezervy.V skratke zhrnutý stav >>> príležitostné uzamknutia DVB-S2 nosnej prenosu bez akéhokoľvek ziskového
rastu.
