Qestion nr.1 :
Hello Roman,
I am moving to Hungary soon and would like to know if Multi choice Africa can be received in Szolnok .I have a 1.8m dish with my own decoder and smart card. Is 1.8m enough or do I need to get 2.3m?
thank you
Adriaan
answer from dxsatcs.com :
Dear Mr. Adriaan ,
This is the answer : full stable , all day long reception of TV packet DSTV-Multichoice Africa from satellite Intelsat 10 at 68.5°E naturally in C band is starting from active dish diameter about 240 cm with real MER gainings level 1,5-2 dB up to noise in Central Europe (same as in Hungary-Szolnok) .This means that dish diameter about 180 cm is not enough for full stable reception in the central european zone .
Best Regards
Question nr.2 :
Thank you for the good news.
I am originally from South Africa but working in China now and will be able to buy the 2.4m dish plus good LNB from a friend of mine. While i am here and can buy the products cheaper, is there anything else you would recommend that I bring with me that is more expensive in Europe?
Regards
answer from dxsatcs.com :
Hi Adriaan ,
If you'll buy quality PF 240 cm + universal dual polarity LNB for C band 3,4-4,2 GHz + original DSTV-Multichoice receiver with IRDETO2 CAM you will be able to watch all Multichoice PAY tv channels in C band from satellite Intelsat 10 at 68.5°E without any reception unstability in Hungary.
Best Regards
